What Expenses Will My Monthly Donation Help?

Serving over 60 youth weekly, it costs $10K monthly to keep The Rec doors open. With the exception of sporadic, large donations, we survive & thrive primarily on fundraisers and the faithful few that make up our $1,200 consistent monthly donations.

Just a few examples of community support we have received are:

Wood drive donating over 150 loads of wood to families in need annually.
Community cleanups and trash pick ups with youth on greenway and in other locations throughout the county.
Community Thanksgiving Dinner feeding over 500 Page County citizens in need during the holiday season.

48% Payroll ($4K)

3 Youth Facilitators, Bus Drivers, an Administrator.
These employees work directly with our youth weekly.

13% Fuel / Transportation ($1K)

We are in desperate need of new buses, however we use what we have. Our buses pick up youth daily at six county locations & two private schools, delivers them home throughout the county & picks up/drops off on the weekend for various activities and outings as scheduled.

26% Mortgage/Utilities ($3K)

4 years left on our mortgage. Utilities include: electric, water,
internet, and propane.

13% Food/Cleaning ($2K)

We feed sixty youth 5-6 days a week and use up to 20 pounds of meat weekly, not including sides. These meals may be the last some of the children have for the night, and for some, the only home cooked meal they will get.
